bulletwww.lindadan.comLINDA THOMAS AND DAN DELANCEY share this website as they do their music.  From the Kansas City area, they have performed widely both in the U.S.  and in Europe.  Both are published by Mel Bay Publications and both have won many awards.  They have recorded twelve albums together plus Linda has published several instructional books with accompanying CD's for hammered dulcimer and Dan has recorded a solo album that showcases his exceptional guitar flatpicking skill.  Their list of awards and championships is impressive.  They have been much help to us throughout the history of Autumn Acoustics.

bulletKENDRA WARD is one of the most respected and well-known Appalachian musicians.  She and husband Bob Bence will be with us in Hillsboro in 2006.  Their website is www.dulcimertimes.com.  Kendra's many recordings, instruction books and videos, and extensive tour schedule have helped her carry her Appalachian heritage into the future.  She has appeared on stage with the Statler Brothers, Debbie Reynolds, Bill Monroe, Allison Kraus, John Hartford, and a host of others.  In addition to the U.S., Kendra and Bob have also toured England, Scotland, and Wales.

bullet www.chris-talley.com:  CHRIS TALLEY is now Mrs. Chris Talley-Armstrong, a 2003 summer bride!  By either name, she is a champion banjo and fiddle player!  Recently she has been organizing her own fiddle contests for up-and-coming fiddlers as well as performing herself.  We are excited to have her back at Autumn Acoustics.    We hope you stopped by her vendor booth at Autumn Acoustics and congratulated her on being both an Illinois State Fair Fiddle Champion AND Banjo Champion!  You may want to find out where her New Athens, Illinois, music store is and stop by there, too.  Earl Armstrong volunteered to teach  beginner guitar classes in 2007--something requested by some patrons--and we hear they went well!

bulletBud How has earned a reputation as an excellent mandolin player as he and his family group play bluegrass gospel around the local area.  Bud is from Festus, Missouri, just down the road from Hillsboro.  He has been a part of Autumn Acoustics as a daytime performer in the past and this year he will also be teaching  mandolin also.
